This device will employ a battery-operated passive infrared sensor (PIR) that can be deployed anywhere in the home or garden that will relay either live or recorded information about movement wirelessly. So the remote device will consist of a PIR sensor attached to an AVR microcontroller which in turn is attached to an RFM12B wireless module.
